MoCoLUG July Meeting
This month, we'll be in Rockville. The main agenda item is how we want to communicate in an easier-to-use way than discussions on Meetup or in blog comments.
The best options seem to be be:
Discord, with a public server for discoverability and at least one private channel
[matrix], which is FLOSS and can be bridged to Discord if someone is willing to run their own server
We'll have plenty of time to discuss other things, and I know we have at least one Linux newbie planning to join us, which is great.
The larger-capacity rooms are extremely difficult to reserve, so I'm going to try to jump on a smaller (8-person) meeting room in the Rockville Library once reservations open. I will try to grab room 1, but stay tuned for an update closer to the date!
